Our group trading name is Global Payroll Association and the Jobboard is GPAJobs.

This includes doing anything which could result in modifying any of the information that is held on the website.

The information must not be discriminatory, offensive, obscene, defamatory, illegal or unlawful. All data and files submitted by you must be free from viruses or not contain anything that would damage or interfere with any system.

Information submitted by you

Information submitted by you will be used to assist the recruitment process and to purchase training courses through this website. 

Information we collect about you

When you register with our site, we collect personal data from you. The purpose of this is to provide you with the recruitment services and training courses that are available on our site, as well as for general administrative purposes.

For the purpose of providing this service, the personal information we require from you will include your name, email address and telephone number. For work seekers, you will be able to provide information such as your preferred work location and details of work you are looking for. If you upload a CV, covering letter of personal statement to your account that information will remain on your account until the account is closed. 

Should you purchase a training course through our site, you may be asked to provide us with payment details in order that they get passed to the relevant third party course provider. Results of assessments that have been made available through our site will also be retained. 

How we may use your personal information

By registering with this site, work seekers are actively seeking opportunities with prospective employers. If you are seeking work, we will therefore provide recruiters and employers with your personal information who use this site in order to for them to find suitable employees to fill the positions advertised. 

Work seekers will be entitled to limit the amount of personal data which is supplied to recruiters and employers through accessing the contact preferences section in their account. 

We will send work seekers relevant job alerts and emails about training courses and vacancies which may be of interest to them. We will gain this information through highlighting relevant areas of expertise in the personal data provided. 

We do not share your personal information with third parties unless it is to provide you with potential employers or training course providers. 

Your personal data is stored on our systems within the European Economic Area, meaning that we must abide by the most up to date data protection legislation. All third parties who have access to your personal data must also comply with this legislation. 

Marketing

We will only communicate to you in relation to training courses and vacancies that are relevant to your interests and expertise, in order to put you in contact with the third party employers and training course providers. 

We will only send you information that is relevant to your personal information and work you are seeking, unless you specifically opt in to receive other information. 

Your consent to receiving marketing information can be changed at any time, through the preferences section in your account. 

Updating and correcting your information

You will be entitled to update and delete any information that is no longer correct or accurate. This can be done by signing into your online account. 

You have the right to close your account at any time. We will ensure that all of your information is destroyed, unless you have an ongoing complaint or claim whereby the information is needed in order for it to be resolved. 

Security and passwords

If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential. You will be solely responsible for you password and must not disclose it to any third party.

We have the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of use.

If you know or suspect that anyone other than you knows your user identification code or password, you must promptly notify us at[email protected]

We accept no liability for the unauthorised or improper use of your password.

Termination 

It will be at our discretion to terminate your registration with our site if we feel appropriate, without any explanation or notification.  This will including denying you access to the website.

We accept no liability for loss incurred directly or indirectly from the use of our site. This includes loss of business, profits or revenue, wasted expenditure, corruption or destruction of data.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all representations, conditions and warranties relating to the website and your use of it.
